NYSEG rates have risen significantly above CCA Fixed Rates
Con Ed pricing has gone down in February, but your Community is still saving over Con Ed Rates
NYSEG rates have moved higher from their unseasonable dip. At the end of January they are on par with Westchester Power’s fixed rates. So far in the first half of February they are significantly higher – approximately 8.3 cents per kWh.
Con Ed rates have dropped since December to a little over 8 cents at the end of January, still about a half cent higher than CCA rates.
In this past month NYSEG’s utility rate continues to dip significantly, while Con Ed’s does the opposite. That will keep Con Ed territory customers in a net positive situation and NYSEG’s in the red still. We’ll run numbers and get specific after the turn of the year.
